8/98 The Grove

G.V. II

House, formerly rectory, early C19. Brick, rendered and
colourwashed; hipped slate roof. 3 roof stacks. Rendered
plinth, moulded wood covers; 2 storeys, 3 windows, L plan. South
front has central latticework porch with leaded tent roof
containing half-glazed door, flanked by single glazing bar
sashes. Above, 3 similar sashes. East front has to left, single
glazing bar sash and to right tripartite French window; above. 3
glazing bar sashes. Other facades have irregular C19 and C20
fenestration.
