G.V. II*

Garden temple in the form of a Roman Doric distyle portico.
c.1765. By Stephen Wright for the Duke of Newcastle. Ashlar
with hipped lead roof. Triglyph frieze with guttae and cornice
with rosettes. At each end, a single round headed glazing bar
light. Coffered ceiling with domed central bay.
