Grafton House

II

House. 1814. Brick with C20 pantile roof. Ashlar dressings,
steps, plinth, first floor band, moulded eaves and pediment.
Coped gables, 2 gable stacks; 2 storeys, 3 bays. Projecting
central bay has doorcase with reeded curved brackets to cornice
and pediment. C20 glazed door, flanked by single later C19
canted bay windows, each with 2 plain and one margin light
sashes. Above, central round headed glazing bar sash flanked by
single plain sashes, all with rubbed brick heads and keystones.
Above, again, central pediment with datestone inscribed '1814'.
