SK 67 NW WORKSOP HARDWICK TERRACE

with outbuildings

Pair of estate houses Late C19. Brick with ashlar dressings.
Steep pitched slate roof. Chamfered plinth. Shouldered coped
gables with kneelers. 2 large side wall and single rear ridge
stacks. 2 storey, 3 bays, T-plan. Windows are mostly mullioned
and transomed casements. Symmetrical front has recessed central
bay with flanking projecting gabled wings. Central four centred
arched doorway in ashlar surround, flanked by single casements,
and above, slate roofed porch on curved timber brackets. Beyond,
2 casements with hood moulds. Above, central gabled cross eaves
dormer, flanked by single stepped head casements with hood
moulds. Gable ends have diaper work. Attached rear outbuilding,
brick, with slate roof, has single external gable stack and
single casement.
