Group of 4 estate cottages. Late C19. Brick with steep pitched
fishscale slate roofs. Ashlar dressings, chamfered plinth.
Shouldered coped gables with kneelers and finials. 2 large
grouped ridge stacks, rebuilt C20. Most windows are mullioned
and transomed casements with hood moulds. Doors have four centred
arches. 2 storeys plus attics, 8 unequal bays. Symmetrical main
front has 2 doors, flanked by 2 storey projecting gabled bays
with single casements. Beyond, similar single casements. Beyond
again, setback 2 storey gabled porches with single doors. Above,
central pair of casements flanked by single stepped head
casements, and beyond, another single casement. Beyond again,
small single casements in porches. Above again, single breathers
in gables and 4 gabled dormers. Outside, matching outbuildings,
single storey, with projecting central bay, 5 doors and 6 small
casements. Single off centre ridge stack.
