House and adjoining shop. Late C18, mid Cl9. Brick, partly
whitewashed. Steep pitched plain tile roofs. Dentillated eaves,
coped gables with kneelers. 2 gable and 2 side wall stacks. 3
storeys, 2 bays. Windows are mostly C20 casements in openings
with segmental rubbed brick heads. House has C19 glazed door
flanked to left by casement and to right by shuttered shop window
with hood. Above, 2 casements and above again, 2 square headed
casements. To east, single storey lean-to addition, and above, to
right, casement to attic. At rear, gabled dormer over stairs,
with C20 casement. Shop, to east, has coped parapet. To left,
pilastered doorcase with part glazed door and overlight. To
right, mullioned shop window with dentillated hood on shaped
brackets. To east again, brick boundary wall with gabled coping
and 2 doorways.
