Shortwood Lane Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C19. Brick with C20 pantile roof. Dentillated eaves, three gable stacks. Two storeys plus garrets, three bays. Windows are glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. South front has central latticed timber porch with brick plinth and leaded roof. Panelled door with overlight. Flanked by single sashes, and to right, a small casement. To right, later C19 service wing, two storeys, single bay. Above, three smaller sashes. Rear elevation has to left, glazed door flanked by single C19 and C20 casements. Beyond, to right, a blocked opening and a small glazing bar sash. Above, to left, a casement with segmental head, and to right, three sashes of different sizes.
