The Windmill
II
Tower windmill, now house. Mid C19. Red brick, painted. 5
storeys. Circular plan. On the ground floor is a single large
fixed light replacing a doorway, a single window and a doorway
with glazing bar door. The first floor has a doorway with
glazing bar door, a fixed light and a single window. The second
and third floors each have 3 windows and the fourth floor has 4
windows. On the north side is a single stair window. All
windows are cast iron glazing bar casements. All openings are
under segmental arches and have C20 lead drip moulds. Attached
to the west are C20 extensions, not of special interest.
