Cottage, former post office. Mid C17 with early C18 extension.
Red brick, C17 wing originally timber framed. Pantile roof,
hipped to the right projecting bay. Single red brick ridge and
left gable stacks. Dentil eaves to single left C18 bay.
Originally 2 bay timber framed cottage. 2 storeys, 2 bays. The
left single bay, set back and C18. Single tripartite casement,
to the right is a single glazing tripartite Yorkshire sash both
under segmental arches, in the side/left wall of this bay is the
doorway with C20 door and lean-to pantile hood supported on
wooden posts. Above left is a single tripartite glazing bar
Yorkshire sash and to the right a single tripartite Yorkshire
sash. To the rear of the right single bay is a lean-to. To the
rear right is a C20 red brick and hipped pantile C20 extension.
Interior has evidence of a few posts. There is a studded panel
with curved brace. Many chamfered beams.
