6/143 Garden House

G.V. II

House. Mid C18. Red brick. Pantile roof. Single ridge and
right gable red brick stacks. Gables with kneelers, the right
coped with ashlar, the left with brick. Dogtooth eaves. 2
storeys plus attic, 4 bays. Doorway with fielded panel door and
overlight. To the right is a single glazing bar sash and to the
left 2 similar sashes. Above are 3 similar sashes. All openings
have painted wedge lintels and keystones. In the attic is a
single flat topped dormer with single casement. To the right,
set back, is a red brick and pantile single storey single bay
lean-to with single similar sash and lintel. The left gable/road
front has 2 large glazing bar Yorkshire sashes on the ground and
first floors with a single similar sash above, all with similar
lintels.
