Cottage Beams and the Annexe

GV II

House and 3 adjoining cottages, now a house. Late C18 and
early C19. Remodelled 1987. Brick with pantile roofs. House,
adjoining street, has cogged eaves, coped gables, 2 gable
stacks, and catslide roof to rear. Windows are mainly segment
headed casements with glazing bars. Front has 2 triple
casements and above, to left, a 2-light casement. Central
segment headed door flanked by single casements with shutters.
Right gable, to street, has to right a 2-light casement with
shutters and above, 2 smaller garret casements. 2 window range
to left has a triple casement to the right. C20 glazed door to
left and to right, C20 flat headed casement with shutters.
Gabled wing to left again has a central ridge stack. In the
front gable, a C20 louvre window and below, a 2-light
casement. Left side has irregular C20 fenestration including a
garage door and a French window. Interior has mainly reused
beams and joists. Central range has 2 stud walls. Several
plank doors.
