GV II

House and attched stable range, now shops and restaurant. Mid
C18, altered late C19 and mid C20. Brick with stucco south
gable and slate and pantile roofs. Front has first and second
floor bands, brick modillion eaves, coped gables and 2 gable
stacks. 3 storeys; 3 window range. Front has 3 glazing bar
sashes with rubbed brick heads, and above, 3 similar windows.
To left, 2 late C19 wooden shopfronts with corniced fascias on
brackets, the right one reglazed late C20. To right, an
elliptical arched carriage opening. 2 rear wings, 2 and 3
storeys, with coped gables and a gable stack. South side has a
single glazing bar sash on each floor, the larger lower ones
with segmental heads. Former stable range, 2 storeys, has
coped gables and colourwashed ground floor. 2 C20 casements.
To right, C20 doorwith segmental head, and to left, C20 shop
window.
