GV II
2 cottages, now 3 dwellings. Late C18, altered and extended at
rear c1988. Brick with hipped pantile roof. Dentillated eaves.
Single ridge, side wall and rear wall stacks. Front openings
have segmental heads. 3 storeys; 3-window range of glazing bar
casements in segment headed openings, that to the right being
smaller. To right again, a blocked opening. Above, similar
fenestration. Below, 2 glazing bar casements flanked to left
by a single door and to right by 2 doors. To right again, a
larger casement. Rear has 2 and 3 storey lean-to additions,
C19 and late C20. This building is part of a mill complex
built for cotton and silk spinning.
