House, now 2 houses. Late C18, and dated 1824 on rainwater
head. Brick, the street front roughcast and colourwashed, with
stone dressings and pantile roofs. Double range plan. 2 side
wall, single ridge and 2 gable stacks. Windows are glazing bar
sashes, those to the garden front with keystoned lintels. 2
storeys; 3 window range. Garden front has a slightly
projecting pedimented centre and 3 sashes. Central flat roofed
Doric porch with curved steps, covering moulded doorcase with
half-glazed panelled door and overlight. Flanked by single
taller sashes. Each end has a single sash on each floor.
Irregular street front has 3 sashes. Below, near-central plain
sash flanked to left by 2 sashes, and to right by a single
larger one. Beyond, to right, a round headed close-boarded
door. Interior has moulded cornices to principal rooms, a
marble fireplace with Ionic columns and cornice, and fitted
shutters. Plain stone fireplace on first floor, with hob
grate.
