7/13 Colton's Farmhouse and
boundary wall

II

Farmhouse, late C18. Brick with pantile roof, terra-cotta coped gables,
dentillated eaves, 3 gable stacks stone cills, 2 storeys plus garrets,
L-plan. Central moulded doorcase with geometrical overlight and scrolled
brackets to hood, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Above 3 similar
sashes all with rubbed brick heads. East gable has 2 C20 glazing bar
ventilators in peak. Mid C19 boundary wall, brick with terra-cotta
and brick coping, 4 piers with stone caps, decorative cast iron gate. East
end has brick and stone steps to mounting block.
