SK 86 SW SOUTH SCARLE SWINDERBY ROAD

5/103 Yew Tree Cottage

Cottage, C18, with C19 alterations; coursed blue lias rubble and brick,
pantile roof with single ridge stack, single storey with attic, 3 bays.
East front has off-centre C19 close boarded door with C20 glazed porch,
flanked to south by C19 2 light Yorkshire sash with timber lintel and to north by
C19 2 light Yorkshire sash with segmental head. South gable has blocked
opening; above, another blocked opening and single C20 casement.
Interior has large fireplace with re-used bressummer with billet moulding and
mortices on underside.
