II

Ferryman's model cottage. C19. Yellow brick with gabled plain
tile roof with diaper patterns. Chamfered plinth, pierced
bargeboards, grouped central stack, cross plan, 3 bays, single
storey plus garrets. Casement windows. South front has central
window with hood mould, flanked to left by another window and to
right by a plank door. West front has central plank door with
segmental head and above, a window with rubbed brick head. North
front has to right, a window, and above, another window with
rubbed brick head. East front has central window with hood
mould, flanked by single windows with rubbed brick heads.
