7/67 Stable, outhouse
and pump at The
Shades

Stable and outbuilding. Late C18. Brick with pantile roof.
Dentillated eaves, single gable stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays. L-
plan. South front has to left, single storey, single bay
outbuilding with a pair of garage doors. Stable, to right, has
central stable door with overlight, flanked by single blocked
openings with rubbed brick heads. Above, central round headed
opening. East front has to right, stable door with glazing bar
overlight, and to left, a round opening. North gable has blocked
opening and to its right, round opening. Above, small Yorkshire
sash. West gable has attached C19 lead pump with curved iron
handle, in rectangular wood case. Adjacent round stone trough.
