Farmhouse. C18 with C19 additions. Brick with pantile and plain
tile roofs. First floor band, cogged eaves, 3 coped gables with
kneelers, 3 gable stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays. L-
plan. Windows are mostly plain sashes. Main north front has
porjecting gabled wing to left. Off-centre C19 brick porch with
eaves band and coped gable and C20 panelled door with glazing
bar overlight. To right, plain sash with segmental head. Above,
to left, glazing bar light with segmental head, and to right,
plain sash. West front has, to left, C19 bow window with hipped
lead roof and 4 sashes. West gable has single glazing bar sash,
and above, small glazing bar sash to garret. East front has, to
left, C19 gabled rear wing. To right, a single glazing bar sash
on each floor. Rear wing has, to north, a C20 casement and to
right, door. Above, a plain sash. Adjoining farm buildings, to
east, C19, single storey, 3 bays. Interior has 4 chamfered span
beams, C18 winder stairs with landing and square newels with
turned knobs. C18 attic stairs. East side has principal rafter
roof with heavy tenoned purlins, mainly re-used timber; west
side has remainder of principal rafter roof with struts to
purlins.
