3/19 Northend Farmhouse
Farmhouse. Early C18, altered and extended late C18/early C19. Limestone rubble
with old plain-tile and Welsh-slate roofs with brick stacks. 2-unit plan
extended to 3 units. 2 storeys plus attics and 2 storeys. Earlier tiled range to
right is largely obscured by an outbuilding range projecting from the front, but
it has a 3-light casement with a 2-light casement above, both probably dating
from the alteration. Lower slated addition, to left, is a 2-window range with a
plank door and 3-light casement at ground floor, and has small 2-light casements
above. A clustered stack rises at the junction of the ranges. Right gable wall
of earlier section has aligned leaded windows of 2, 3 and one lights. Interior
not inspected.
