House. Probably C17, enlarged C18. Timber framing with brick infill;
colourwashed brick and rubble; old plain-tile roofs with brick stacks. 2-unit
plan extended to 4 units. 2 storeys. 2 bays to left of front are earlier and
higher, with the end bay of brick and rubble and the entrance bay of timber
framing; both bays have some old 3-light leaded casements and the door has a
rectangular overlight. Roof has a gable stack to left. C18 brick bays, set back
to right, have a dentil eaves course and 4 segmental-arched 3-light leaded
casements; the range incorporates a rubble chimney projection, belonging to the
earlier sections, the tall stack of which rises from the lower roof. Interior
not inspected.
