Farmhouse, now outbuilding. Mid C17. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels;
corrugated-iron roof with rubble and brick ridge stack. 2-unit baffle-entry plan
with rear wing. One storey plus attic. Front has a central doorway, a 2-light
casement to right and, to left, an inserted garage door. Right gable wall has a
2-light casement with some lattice glazing above a 4-light ovolo-moulded
wood-mullioned window. Central stack has the remains of 2 diagonal shafts on a
rubble base. Rear wing returns on right. Interior: massive central stack; open
fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer and spit rack. Replaced as the farmhouse
in 1904 and unoccupied for many years.
