Manor Farmhouse and thatched cottage/cart entrance range abutting to right

Farmhouse and attached cottage/cart entrance range. Farmhouse. C17 with C19 and
C20 alterations. Squared coursed limestone with brick window dressings. Steeply
pitched red-tile roof. Stone ridge and end stacks with brick shafts. 3-unit
through passage plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 4-window range. Entrance off-centre
to left has panelled/glazed door and stone lintel. Entrance is flanked by
12-pane sashes with stone lintels. Similar window to right. First floor has 4
twelve-pane sashes with horns and wood lintels. Brick window dressings. Renewed
rafters. Single gabled roof dormer. Bread oven projection in angle on right.
Thatched range to right including a cottage, cart entrance and possibly former
barn now converted to a dwelling. Squared, coursed limestone rubble. Steeply
pitched thatched roof. The dwellings have brick ridge stacks. Both of 2-unit
plan. Cottage to left. Single storey plus attic. Entrance to rear. Ground floor
has two 2-light C20 casements with original wood lintels. Central brick recess
for water pump has arched brick head. 2 gabled dormers with C20 windows. Cottage
on right. Single storey. C20 entrance and 3 C20 windows. Wide wood lintels below
eaves marks portion of possible former barn entrance. Limestone quoins. Interior
not inspected.
