Adderbury West
6/9 South View

House. Late C18/early C19. Coursed squared marlstone and ashlar with some brick;
Welsh-slate roof with brick end stacks. Central-stair plan with subsidiary
ranges. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window ashlar front has a central 2-panel door
with overlight and panelled reveals below a shallow canopy on consoles; 12-pane
sashes are taller at ground floor. Roof has overhanging boxed eaves at the
front. Stone rear wing returning from left has further sashes; narrower brick
range, extending further to rear, has a carriage entry with double doors below a
depressed arch. Interior not inspected.
