GV II
House, now 2 dwellings. C17, extended C18 and altered C20. Coursed marlstone
rubble with wooden lintels; thatch and shingle roofs with brick stacks. L plan.
One storey plus attic. Long thatched main range to rear, now subdivided, has
mostly renewed windows and dormers including one very tall window, but retains a
3-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned window. Shingle-roofed wing, facing Dog
Close, is probably C18; it has an altered roofline and some C20 casements, but
retains a 3-light C18 casement and an ancient 2-light casement to rear. Interior
not inspected.
