S of south transept of Church
of St. Mary

Chest tomb. Circa 1764. Marlstone. Rectangular chest, with moulded base and
cover, has square recessed corner balusters and inscription panels carved with
Rococo detail in very shallow relief. Inscription commemorates Benjamin
Messenger (d.1764).
