Adderbury West
6/77 Southbank

House. Early C18, altered and extended late C18/early C19. Coursed squared
marlstone with ashlar quoins; concrete plain-tile roof with stone-and-brick
gable stacks. 2-unit plan extended to L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Irregular
3-window front has a C20 panelled door approached by semi-circular stone steps
and has flanking 16-pane sashes; first floor has C18 leaded casements of 3, 2
and 3 lights. Steep-pitched roof has stone gable parapets and contains two C20
roof dormers. Gables have small casements. Rear wing, returning from left, has a
shallower roof and 12-pane sashes. Interior not inspected.
