GV II
Chest tomb. Mid C18. Marlstone. Rectangular chest, with molded base and cover,
has fielded panelled sides and recessed fluted baluster corners. Inscriptions
commemorate Bartholomew Churchill (d. 1735 or 1755) and other members of that
family. An unusually elaborate version of a common type.
