House. Early/mid C18. Coursed squared marlstone; Stonesfield-slate roof with
brick end slacks. 2-unit plan with subsidiary wings. 2 storeys. 3-window front
has 12-pane sashes at first floor, all with stone flat arches and projecting
keyblocks; at ground floor the central entrance has a similar head, but sash to
right has a later wooden lintel, and to left is a tripartite sash and second
entrance under a combined lintel. Steep-pitched roof continues to right over a
colourwashed-brick first-floor extension above The Tchure. To rear are casements
plus a stone single-storey service range with a gabled slated roof. Interior not
inspected.
