Cottage and house. Probably early C18 and mid C18, altered early C19. Coursed
squared marlstone with some ashlar dressings; Welsh-slate roofs with brick end
stacks. 2-unit and single-unit plans. 2 storeys. No.2 is earlier with a
steep-pitched roof; it has a 2-light C20 casement at each floor, probably
reduced in width at an early date, and has the doorway set to right, all
openings with ashlar flat arches. Regular 2-window front of No.3 to left, is
higher at the eaves and has 3-light C18 casements at first floor with chamfered
lintels; central doorway has a fielded 4-panel door, but flanking windows have
9-pane C19 sashes below earlier wider limestone-ashlar flat arches. Roof, of
moderate pitch, has gable parapets with moulded projecting kneelers. Interiors
not inspected.
