10/24 Gingerbread Cottage

House. C17 with probable late C17 single storey wing to rear. Coursed
ironstone rubble with thatched roof. 3 brick stacks on stone bases at ends
and to left of centre. Single storey plus attic. 3-unit plan. Three 2-light
wooden casements with lead cames and wooden lintels on ground floor. Four
2-light casements mostly with lead cames to attic. Entrance to right
of 2-storey circular stair turret projection. Blocked doorway to left of
stair turret. Small casement in stair turret. Buttresses on right if
elevation and at left end. 2 stone mullioned windows at rear, one with hood
moulds and label stops. Interior not inspected.
