House. C17 with later alterations. Coursed regular ironstone rubble,
stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. Stone copings. 2 stone end
stacks on stone bases with oversailing courses. 2 storeys plus attic, 3
bays. C20 12- and 16-pane sashes. 2-light stone mullioned windows in attic
storey. Off-centre doorway to left has segmental arched stone lintel.
History: John Parran occupied the house before 1775. Magdalen Lodge belonged
in 1774 to Ann Warmington, a widow who married Mr. Apletree in the same year.
William White owned the house at his death in 1858.
