Vicarage, now house. 1861-2 by William White. Regular coursed ironstone.
2 brick ridge stacks on stone bases. 3-unit plan. Garden front: 2 storeys.
3 windows to ground floor. 2-and 3-light stone mullions with stone relieving
arches. First floor has 2 windows with steeply pitched tile hung gables.
Plain tile roof. Lateral stone stack to left. Bay window to east end has
sloping plain tile roof, French window and heavy stone step. Structural
relieving arch. South front: detail includes lateral stone stacks, open
timber porch with tile hanging, pointed arched entrance with tiled hood,
wooden casement windows with stone relieving arches and hipped roofs to range
of attached outbuildings. Interior: Original details in all rooms including
stone fireplaces, bay windows with shutters, beams and joists, staircases,
C19 stained glass and intact arrangement of rooms. A good example of White's
later work.
