Two cottages, now house. C17 and later extension. Coursed ironstone rubble.
Thatched roof. 2-unit to left, single unit to right. Single storey plus attic
throughout. Left part: Off centre door to right has thatched rustic C20
porch. Door flanked by 2 C20 casements with wooden lintels; two 3-light
casements to attic storey, partly in thatch. Brick ridge stack. Earlier part
to right presents taller, narrow frontage; two 3-light casements with wooden
lintels to ground floor. Blocked doorway between windows. Single eyebrow
dormer to attic storey. Interior: Stop chamfered beams and joists to rooms to
right of entrance. Wooden spiral stair in north wall of earlier part; straight
flight with winder to later part. 2-light casement with wrought iron catch in
rear wall of later part now internal wall to C20 kitchen extension. Room to
south in later part reputed by owner to have been a barn.
