House. C17, partly rebuilt and extended 1842. Regular coursed ironstone
rubble. Stone slate roof to C17 part, Welsh slate roof to C19 part. 6 stone
stacks: Ends, ridge, lateral. U-plan: C19 garden front and wing to rear left,
C17 wing to right. Entrance front: 2 builds. C19 left part has 2 gabled bays
with entrance to second bay. Door has hood mould with label stops. Wooden
mullioned and transomed window to first floor has similar details. Carved
bargeboards. C17 part to right has steeply pitched gabled bay with extension
to right. 2 storeys plus attic. Single wood mullioned and transomed windows
to ground floor; 2-light stone mullioned windows with crown glass to attic.
Ironstone quoins to right. Extension has lateral stone stack. Garden front:
Tudor revival style: 3 bays. Gabled bay to left; 2 storeys plus attic; other;
2 storeys. 3 window range. 4 wood mullioned and transomed windows to ground-
floor have hood moulds. 3 similar windows to first floor. Small attic window
to left. Bargeboards. 2-centred door to study.
