Large house. Probably C18. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Welsh slate roof.
Stone copings. Brick ridge stack and rendered end stack to right. 4-unit plan. 2
storeys plus attic. 5-window range. 2 entrances: to right a 4-panelled door has
moulded wooden frame and arched canopy hood and is flanked by two 3-light wooden
mullioned and transomed windows. Plank door to left has iron hinges, moulded
wooden frame and arched canopy hood. To its right a small window and a 3-light
wooden mullioned and transomed window. First floor has 4 wooden mullioned and
transomed windows and one small rectanglar window. A few windows have crown
glass and wrought iron casement fasteners including a lion and griffin design.
Most windows have chamfered wooden lintels. Two 2-light gabled roof dormers.
Interior: Plank door; staircase with straight flight and winders, cellar. C20
bay window to kitchen.
