Barn. Probably C17. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched stone
slate roof. Stone copings. 4 bays. Threshing floor to second bay. Three 2-light
casements with wooden lintels to left. Doorway with wooden lintel is flanked by
2 ventilation slits. Interior: Trenched purlin roof, common rafters, collars and
tie beams. Inserted loft to 2 bays to left. Important siting in relation to
other buildings in Church Street and to Rectory Farmhouse. Included for group
value.
