House. Probably C17 originally. Noted as having datestone RP 1742. Regular
coursed ironstone rubble. Welsh slate roof; 3 brick stacks to ridge and end, one
on a stone base. L-plan. South-east elevation: Left part single storey plus
attic; Gable fronted bay to right of 2 storeys plus attic. 6-panelled door and
lattice porch is flanked by casements with wooden lintels. Single attic casement
to left part. Right part has a casement to first floor with keystoned surround
and a similar small window above with crown glass. Some windows have wrought
iron casement fasteners. Ironstone quoins. Stone copings and kneelers to gable.
Elevation to Cumberford Hill: Three tall 2-light casements those to ground floor
have keystoned flat arches. Window to left blocked. 3 similar windows to first
floor. Host windows havewrought iron casement fasteners. Interior: Noted as
having a stone fireplace dated 1619 which came from a house in Adderbury and
early C19 fittings.
