House. 2 builds. C17 and C18. L-plan. Right part: Regular coursed ironstone
rubble. Steeply pitched C20 tile roof. 2 brick end stacks on stone bases. 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Tall 3-light casement to left has C20 wooden lintel.
Two 2-light stone mullioned windows with renewed stonework to first floor have
hood moulds and label stops. Hipped C20 full dormer, Ironstone quoins. C20
entrance into middle part. Left part at right angles to road: Regular coursed
ironstone rubble. C20 tile roof. Single storey plus attic. Single-unit plan.
Brick end stack. 3-light stone mullioned window to cellar. Four 3-light casement
to both ground floor and attic, wooden lintels. Ironstone quoins, C20 eaves
dormer. (Painter's farm or cheese house) Stables noted as having datestone
WC1759 after William Cartwright. Interior not inspected.
