Semi-detached pair of villas. c.1840. Possibly by Derrick of Oxford. Stucco,
slate roofs; rendered, clustered ridge and end stacks. 3 storeys plus attic.
Each pair of L-plan with porch placed at a 45 degree angle, between the arms of
the L. Both parts of the building of single-window range with canted 2-storey
bay windows on the return from street. Doorways have 4-centred arched heads and
wood doors. Square-headed windows with Gothick glazing bars to ground and first
floors, some with hood moulds and label stops. Gabled attic dormers have pointed
arched windows with Gothick glazing bars and hood moulds. Corner pinnacles.
Embattled bay windows. Basements. Interiors not inspected.
