Bank facade c1780. C19 and C20 alterations to ground floor. Brick. 3 storeys;
5-window range. Rusticated ground floor with pilasters. 4 windows. Entrance to
right has stone doorcase. First floor has 5 sashes with moulded stone surrounds and
cornices. The central sash is pedimented. 5 smaller sashes to second floor have
moulded stone surrounds. All sashes have hornes and eared architraves. Rusticated
quoins to first and second floors. Heavy, dentilled eaves cornice, below C20 brick
parapet with ironstone coping. History: Cobb's Bank c1780. One of the first brick
buildings in Banbury. The C20 rebuilding to the rear is not of special architectural
