Farmhouse, now house. C17 with later alterations. Regular coursed ironstone
rubble. Fine jointing. Ironstone quoins. Ironstone copings with moulded
kneelers. Steeply pitched slate roof. 3 ridge and end stacks: stack to left end
of stone, ridge stack has brick shafts on a stone base. Similar stack to right
end has rendered base. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window range. 3 casement windows
to ground floor have original wooden lintels. 3 first floor windows include 2
and 3-light casements with wooden lintels. C20 skylight. Entrance to rear. Rear
elevation: Doorway off-centre to left has panelled reveals and panelled door.
Hood. 3-light casement to left, window to right has glazing bars. Tall
wood-mullioned window to right has glazing bars. Two 3-light first floor
windows, one with glazing bar. Wooden lintels. 2-storey extension to left has
panelled door with wooden lintel, a blocked window opening with wooden lintel
and a 3-light casement to left. 2-light attic casement. Interior: said to have
inglenook fireplace and original panelled doors.
