Farmhouse, now house. C17 with later alterations. Regular coursed ironstone
rubble, steeply pitched slate roof, rendered stone ridge and end stacks, stone
copings with moulded kneelers. 2 storeys plus attic and basement; 3-window
range. 3-unit plan. Entrance off-centre to right has panelled door now partly
glazed, panelled reveals and overlight. Flat hood and wooden surrounds. Renewed
C20 cross windows to ground floor have original wooden lintels. 3 renewed first
floor windows. 2 gabled roof dormers. 2-light cellar window to left. Gabled
extension to left, now garage, has 2-light casement with lead cames and wood
lintel in left end. 2-storey brick extension butted on to rear of main building.
No.50 is reputed to form part of Easington Farmhouse which was extensively
repaired or enlarged in 1793.
