Houses, offices and shops. c.1830-40. Painted brick. Stucco front to Nos.53 and
53A. Slate roof. Brick ridge and end stacks. 3 storeys. 7 windows altogether.
C20 shop fronts. 3 sash windows to first floor have moulded stone surrounds. 4
sashes to right on first floor have stone lintels and sills. Corresponding
window arrangement to second floors. Nos.53 and 53A have rusticated quoins.
Interior: Part of early C19 staircase, panelled doors and moulded doorcases.
