2 houses now houses and flats. Early C18 with later alterations and additions.
Ironstone rubble, hipped slate roof, brick lateral stacks. Single storey plus
attic; 2-window range. Central entrance has part-glazed door, overlight and
tiled canopy porch. Doorway is flanked by a bay window to left and sash to
right. Attic storey has 2 eaves dormers with hipped roof. No.2: ironstone
ashlar, hipped slate and tile roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys plus attic;
3-window range. Central doorway has overlight and canopy porch. Doorway is
flanked by sashes (4-pane width). 3 similar windows to first floor, 2 gabled roof
dormers. Rear of Nos.1 and 2: scattered fenestration including sashes,
wood-mullioned and transomed windows and a 2-light stone-mullioned cellar
window. Rear entrance reached via steps. Interior: said to have C17 staircase.
