House. Late C17. Coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels; thatch roof with
rubble-and-brick gable stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 2-window front,
facing garden, has a doorway to left of centre, a 2-light casement to left of
it, and a 3-light casement, originally 4-lights wide; first floor has casements
of 2 and 3 lights. All openings have stop-chamfered lintels. Stack to right has
paired brick shafts. Added end outshut to left. Rear has further 2-and 3-light
casements with stop-chamfered lintels, and has 2 small stair windows. Interior:
Very large open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer; chamber fireplace in
splay of chimney breast; stop-chamfered beans; butt-purlin roof.
