2/25 Rectory Farmhouse and cottage
abutting on left

Farmhouse. Late C18 with later additions to rear and C20 alterations. Ironstone
ashlar. Slate roof. End stacks with brick shafts and stone bases. Stone coped
gables with moulded kneelers. 2-unit plan plus rear outshot. 2 storeys. 3-window
range, Central entrance has C20 door with overlight. C20 porch. Entrance is
flanked by C20 windows in the original openings with keyblock stone heads. First
floor has 2- and 3-light casements with wood lintels. Cottage. Late C18. Regular
coursed ironstone rubble. C20-tile roof. C20 porch, Entrance has plank door and
wood lintel. Casements with wood lintels. Rectory Farmhouse is recorded in the
Victoria Country History as Vicarage Farm. Interiors not inspected.
