Rose Cottage

House. Late C17 with later alterations. Squared, coursed ironstone. Steeply
pitched thatched roof. Brick end stacks. Situated end on to road. 3-unit plan
plus rear outshot. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window range. Entrance off-centre to
left has panelled-glazed door, wood lintel and C20 trellis porch. Entrance is
flanked by 2-light C20 casements with wood lintels and a further C20 window to
right. First floor has C20 casements in the original openings with wood lintels.
Gable end facing road has a small 2-light attic window with metal casement, wood
frame and wood lintel. Interior not inspected.
