GV II
House and cottage now house. One build. C17 with C18 alterations and later
additions. Squared, coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched thatched roof. Brick end
and ridge stacks on stone bases. 2-unit plan plus one-unit. Left part. 2
storeys. 3-window range. Approximately central entrance has plank door with flat
moulded stone head, hood mould and diamond shaped label stops. Entrance is
flanked by 3-light metal casements in wood frames with wrought-iron casement
fastners and chamfered wood lintels. First floor has two 3-light and a 2-light
similar windows. Right part. 2 storeys. 1-window range. Blocked entrance on
right. Ground floor has a 3-light stone mullioned window with hood mould and
label stop. First floor has a 3-light wood casement window with wrought-iron
casement fastener and wood lintel. Interior not inspected.
