Cottage and attached barn now one house. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Regular
coursed ironstone rubble and squared coursed ironstone, finely jointed. Steeply
pitched thatched roof. Stone coping on right gable with finials. Entrance has
plank door, moulded wood frame and wood lintel. A renewed 3-light wood casement
to left and on far left a 3-light metal casement in wood frame. Former barn on
right has a 3-light C20 casement with wood lintel. Attic to cottage has a
2-light metal casement with wood lintel and a 2-light Yorkshire sliding sash
window. 2 windows have wrought-iron casement fasteners. Wood lintels. Barn has a
ventilation slit. Right gable has a blind pointed window. Interior not
inspected.
